Our 70+ team played an interesting game against Guam 70+. We were seeking to initially play individuals who have played together, seeking combinations, as many of us have not played together. Guam established accredible first quarter lead and unfortunately as much as we tried, we finish second.

We then played 65+ team Myths and Legends (Team A) who are the top team in this grade. This is a lead up round before the finals. Combination and team work showed great improvement but was not enough. It's been a consistent game and we finished second.

Sydney 2009 World Masters Games Opening Ceremony
The competitors have dreamt of this moment for a long time. It's the chance for them to feel like absolute superstars from the time they march into the Stadium to when they exit into the night.
A night of formalities and entertainment will take place at ANZ Stadium. Competitors from all corners of the world will gather to celebrate being fit, fun and forever young.
The Opening Ceremony will feature the largest athlete’s parade on earth, and is sure to re-kindle some of the amazing scenes witnessed during the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
Out There Productions, creative producers for a number of World Youth Day events, will produce the ceremony with Award-winning Australian producer Dein Perry and leading creative director Rhoda Roberts – both of whom were involved in the Sydney Games extravaganza - to direct specific segments.
The World Masters Games is the world’s largest multi-sport event with competitors from over 100 countries participating.
